My Run in with the Law
Had I been pulled over by police for speeding on my way to Wollongong today, I envisage the conversation would have gone something like this:
me: Good morning officer, what seems to be the problem?
cop: Do you realise the speed your vehicle was travelling exceeded the legal limit by quite a bit?
me: Yes I do officer, you see I was travelling at the legal speed for some time but found myself behind another car with My Family stickers all over the rear window and the only way I could escape it was to accelerate away from it as fast as I could.
cop: As you were, ma'am. You take care now.
